We look forward to seeing you on Sunday, July 17th, between 3:00-5:00 p.m. in the old Pavilion for registration and cabin assignments. Each camper is placed in a cabin according to age and grouped with other campers of the same age group. In the event of an over-abundance of a particular age, campers in the same age group are sometimes split up. Cabin assignments are made prior to arriving at camp and changes are NOT possible after the camp deadline. It is for your child’s safety and convenience at camp that we not make last minute changes of assignments. We need to be sure all our documents are correct so we know exactly where to find each camper in the event of a need. Thank you for your understanding in this matter.
WHAT TO BRING: Bible, pen or pencil, clothes for outdoor activities, personal grooming items (soap, towels, shampoo, deodorant, etc.), bed linen (twin) or sleeping bag, swim wear, ball glove, flashlight, money to spend at the canteen (our snack shop opens each day from 2:00-4:30 p.m.). An estimated $10-$20 is an appropriate amount. This money will be turned in to the “camp bank” and deducted each day as your child purchases items. Any unused money will be returned at the end of the week.
WHAT NOT TO BRING: Any electronic devices (i.e. cell phones, radios, DVD players, iPods, computers, etc.), knives, tobacco products, water balloons, immodest clothing (short skirts, short shorts, spaghetti strap shirts, etc.). If it’s questionable, don’t bring it! Please be aware that if any of these items are brought to camp, they will be taken up and returned at the end of the week. It is for the benefit of the entire camp that these are not used/brought.
**Check out our newly updated website @ www.campbandina.org for info!

Seminar on "The Holy Spirit" Powering, Baptizing, Indwelling By Sammy Flanary
The Seminar on "The Holy Spirit" Empower, Baptism and Indwelling, was an absolutley amazing study. God,s Word is powerful and His Spirit is still alive and indwells His children. God's power is just as powerful today as it ever was or ever will be. Even though the outward manifestation of that power has ceased, the apostle John in John 20:30-31 said "Jesus did many other miraculous signs in the presence of His disciples which are not recorded in this book, but that these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name." We do not need to see miracals today to believe that God is powerful, there is sufficent evidence that Jesus is God and that He can save us, and that through Jesus we can be reconciled unto God. Separated from God by our sins, we can be reunited with God through the one time for all time sacrifice of Jesus Christ. When baptized into Christ we are forgiven of our sin's and we recieve the gift of the Holy Spirit and God add's us to His church (The Kingdom of God). Romans 8:9-11 say that "... if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Christ. But if Christ is in you, your body is dead because of sin, yet your spirit is alive because of righteousness. And if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through the Spirit, who lives in you."
